Strategy Against Valverde

Step out at the last minute, and ask to check the ball. Get into that little punk’s head.

Tomorrow

I know this isn’t end of the world stuff and we still got a lot of positive things going for us even with 3 home losses, but does anyone think maybe tossing one or two of the young September callups in the lineup tomorrow might be a jump start with some new blood to get us going again?

off with a loss so if we can duplicate what we did in Aug. in Sept. We’ll be ok.

Cardinals

Im more worried about the Astros in the WC these days the way they have been playing.

With Wiggington and Oswalt just tearing it up these Astros are hot as we’ve seen them since late ’05.

by Gleebo on Sep 1, 2008 5:51 PM CDT reply actions

The Astros have this annoying tendency to finish strong

but they do have two teams to leapfrog over

Annoying Describes Them Perfectly

When they play us, they win. When you need them to beat the Brewers or Cards, they lose. Either suck consistently or be good consistently!
