Hm...

The idea with Harden only throwing 2 pitches was supposed to be that his fastball and change greatly overlap as far as MPH. I haven’t heard announcers saying that lately, though… hm. But it’s what they always said in Oakland.

Yeah, he often talks about learning how to pitch without having to use the heat

So I think that’s a conscious effort to help his health, and he reserves the heat for when he might really need it

We definitely got the better deal.

2 years of Harden for mediocre prospects is better than 1 year of Sabathia for an elite prospect.

That being said, CC has been the best pitcher in the NL.

yeah we didn't give up a start prospect, like the Brewers gave up LaPorta

the only player that will be decent in that deal and worth it is Gallagher. We got Harden AND Gaudin. They only have CC for one year at best
