Yeah absolutely, I like the low strikeouts as long as he's getting outs on few pitches

Yeah, he often talks about learning how to pitch without having to use the heat

Harden doesn't have that many wins, but he has been REELING this year
I’d say he’s even better than Sabathia
2008 Cubs: Who needs nine innings, when you only need a 7th?
I wouldn't go that far

by cubsfaninatl on Sep 11, 2008 8:17 PM CDT up reply actions
What does REELING mean in that context?
I thought reeling was when the pitcher was getting rocked and on the verge of getting knocked out of the game

Sports Illustrated
last week did an article on Rich and they think he’s better than CC and Chicago got the better deal.
We definitely got the better deal.
2 years of Harden for mediocre prospects is better than 1 year of Sabathia for an elite prospect.
That being said, CC has been the best pitcher in the NL.
yeah we didn't give up a start prospect, like the Brewers gave up LaPorta
the only player that will be decent in that deal and worth it is Gallagher. We got Harden AND Gaudin. They only have CC for one year at best
2008 Cubs: Who needs nine innings, when you only need a 7th?
I would agree with that
with what we gave up and getting Gaudin in the deal. Funny thing is Gaudin has missed more time to injury than Harden…
