Reasons for losses...

The Dismal Stats…

We have had really crappy two-out performance recently which has certainly compounded our losses over the last three weeks. As Lou says, “We’re just not getting it done.”
Here is our everyday Cubs, and their clutch stats, two out, RISP – to Date:

SORI – .193
DLEE – .222
ARAM – .278
SOTO – .140
DeRosa – .268
TheRiot – .218

As I said, imo, we’ll make it into the playoffs, and once again, that will be all.

Just throwing this out there....

and I am sure that many BCBers already pointed this out as I am just not diligent enough to be here regularly……but, don’t you think that the scouting report on our hitters (especially DLee) is to just throw outside all day and all night? They keep on trying to pull everything (especially DLee) and that would explain the overabundance of ground balls and weak singles (expecially from DLee).

Again, I am sure that this has been brought up ad nauseum, but I had to throw it out there because I am an idiot, and even I have noticed that every pitcher for the past two weeks just throws about 5 of 6 pitches to the outer half (or way off) of the plate.
