Bravo, Mike!

a fit conclusion to a wonderful series … as I hope we will say again in October.

Had a great grin today while playing World of Warcraft. Ran into two players named “Zambrano” and “Sorian” (why s/he left off the “O” is beyond me). Tried to engage them in conversation but they remained mute, the swine.

If you’re reading this, Anana forgives you. ;-}

Beautiful

I’m going to spend the rest of the day (at least until the game starts) making a list of people I know wearing those Rays, Yanks, and Cardinal uniforms. Thanks, Mike (and Al, again)!

Not sure the Rays belong there

They are going in and with a great record and have survived a lot of injuries. Would probably have put in the D’Backs or waited a week and put in the White Sox ( sorry Mike I know you are a fan but am NOT).

The reason the Rays were in there...

… was because of Lou Piniella and his connection to them. Get it now?

So why's the Cardinal there?

If you wanted Lou-connected teams a Red would be there instead of a Cardinal so I don’t blame someone for being confused. The idea of the cartoon is muddled and, even if it weren’t, it’s about as funny as The Family Circus.

Cardinals as lifelong rival isn't a good enough connection for you?

Sheesh is right.

Now, where'd I put that button....

OT, but we're a half hour away from kickoff...

…and I feel utterly fantastic about my fantasy football team. Players I drafted:

QB – Tom Brady
WR – Wes Welker, Marques Colston, Steve Smith

If it weren’t for Matt Forte I’d be crying right now. (Oh, and my backup QB’s Peyton Manning, so it’s not like I’m playing against the varsity here. But still.)

WELKAHHHH

I’d never have any Patriot on my fantasy, even if it’s a no-brainer.

"Yes it's true. Everyone knows that I've pitched. I make sure of that. I have nine different pitches, all of which are awesome. I have a 0.00 ERA, got one out, throwing all knuckleballs. I don't remember who I faced -- some dude from Ole Miss." - Ryan Theriot

This was fantastic

Great job.
