Slightly OT: Big Z/Theriot
Someone in yesterday’s game thread mentioned the fact that Theriot was one of the first to give Z a big hug and then alluded to how winning cures all animosity or something. Did I miss something that happened between those two??

Zambrano was not happy
that Theriot didn’t throw out Pence on a grounder in his previous start. Supposedly led to Zambrano showing him up and players not being happy about it.

I remember two teams in the 1970s hooking up for back to back no-nos
they each won a game though, not the same team for two no-nos by their own pitchers…

The same team has never had two no-nos in consecutive games
SF and St Louis alternated no nos with each other on consecutive days in 1968 I think and in 1917 St.Louis Browns no no the White Sox on consecutive days but there was a double-header game in between
