I think what I like best about this pic
is that everyone around him is milling around getting ready to leave. Makes me wonder if he was still standing there arms stretched up holding the sign until the janitors were sweeping and they turned out the lights. He has that kind of loving determination about him.

Just saw a pic of Lilly on cubs.com
and he’s wearing the American hat. They hadn’t worn those since Thursday, while several other teams have worn them all weekend. Is it pitcher’s choice?
