Zambrano now available through iTunes
Forget the no-hitter, this is the true sign of success. Zambrano has been recognized in a MLB Game of the Year and the broadcast is available for a small sacrifice of 1.26gb of your hard drive, and 1.99 of your precious earnings...
September 14th, 2008: Chicago Cubs 5 at Houston Astros 0 F -- The only thing that frustrated Carlos Zambrano Sunday night was his at-bat in the seventh inning. He struck out and looked as if he were about to snap the bat across his knee. But he stopped himself. "I was feeling too good to do that," Zambrano said with a smirk. "I saw Lou's face. I said, 'No, not today.'" Zambrano remembered in time that he's a pitcher first. He looked it. Making his first start in 12 days, the right-hander threw his first career no-hitter and the first by a Cubs pitcher in 36 years as Chicago beat the Houston Astros, 5-0, in a makeup game played in front of a very pro-Cubs crowd of 23,441 at Miller Park. "Carlos made it special for them and for us," Cubs manager Lou Piniella said.

As soon as I get home, I know what I'm going to be doing!
Hello- iTunes!
and FIRST…
Go Green! Go White! GO STATE! (#13031 on the Cubs season ticket waiting list...)
My first...
… was the throw-back game. Solely for the black and white innings and the “HEY HEY” home run call.

June 12, Cubs vs. Braves.
It’s the one won by the Reed Johnson HBP in the 11th inning, tied up by an Edmonds HR in the 9th.

thanks Al

Damn it, Apple
I will not install your crap software just for the privilege of paying you to download files.

I'd like to think
Apple makes the best software: software that works.

Right…iTunes 8 caused a lot of problems on Windows and was secretly updated. Solution: uninstall, download again, and resinstall. Don’t get me started on how they secretly tried to install Safari with iTunes as well.

Funny
I downloaded IT8 the other day and have had no problems. And safari wasn’t anywhere to be seen.

their software only works well on macs
and macs are hella expensive. i’m on a linux budget here (though i do have windows pre-installed).
For what you get performance and stability wise, Macs are equivalent in price to PeeCee's.
I had my last Mac G4 for 7 years and had 0 problems with it. I’ve recently upgraded to a new iMac and MacBook and am still amazed at how beautiful the OS is and how easy it is to sync my information across multiple computers.

It's not that it doesn't work
But it stealth installs quicktime, and I have no need for Itunes. Why should I have to download proprietary software just to download a digital file?

Suh-weet.
I’m going to download this and save it for a cold day in January. OK, maybe December.

Any chance, for those of us with dinosaur iPODs,
that they just have the radio call of the game?

Sorry.....
But video ipods are cheaper nowadays. Used ones should be easy to find.

I'm highly considering it.

Save your money
Try a Creative Zen or a 30gb Zune. Both are far more cost effective and just as good.

You could sign up for the MLB radio feed and rip the audio
Winamp has a plugin that rips streaming audio. You just have to make sure that you can play the stream through winamp. Or I’m sure audacity could be set up to do that.

WGN is replaying Pat and Ron's call of the game on Friday
I’ll record it and upload it to bittorrent for the BCB community if nobody makes a commercial version available.

nice
I went to the May 30th comeback game, and could have gone to this one.
It was my wife’s birthday, and even though she said I should, I said it was her day. At least I’ll always remember the date!
Well, you have a better excuse than I
I had the ticket order form half-filled out before I decided I’d be getting back too late. I’m gonna kick myself for that for a long time…
