The Dr.‘s were doing a ton of tests, to determine a treatment course for Jada. So he’s been on the road, playing ball, then coming home to Chicago to a empty house. They’re back now from what I hear, and this clutch game winning hit could turn the tide for him.

this team would have given up in 06 definately
the 07 team may not have fared differently

I went to both stadiums in July, and I gotta say that Shea is actually better

take the history out of Yankee Stadium, and Shea is better. Neither of the stadiums look pretty. Shea has the open concourse and better food. Plus the new stadium in the background makes it look better.

We all have opinions on Soto, ARam, Soriano, or even DeRosa for MVP but who do you guys see as the unsung hero that has been contributing but overshadowed by the everyday starters?

by Gleebo on Sep 18, 2008 5:34 PM CDT reply actions

Jimmy Edmonds has contributed mightly to this team this year.

And all the other MLB teams thought he was washed up and done. Hendry took a calculated risk, and it payed off big time.

OK

lemme tell you something. First off I think this is the worst umpiring crew in the business. CB punching out Fielder with authority on Monday, Joe West thinks he is God and Rapuano is a moody bastard.

NOW….as I guy who has umped more than half my life I know why Rapuano was so pissed. He was so ready to go home in the 9th that every pitch after that he got more and more angry. FUNNY STUFF.

Sorry to post now but just catching up on the DVR.

I don't think it's so funny...it's his damn job to umpire baseball games...

which he should know don’t have a time limit. I don’t get to do a half-assed job when I have to work OT…and if I do…I had better be prepared to answer for it.

Oh I agree....

I just hate being the guy bitching about umpiring. I cannot stand when people bitch balls and strikes. “Where was that” on in game threads is obnoxious.

I just think that this is the absolut worst put together crew….BY FAR. They combination of egos is horrific. The only thing this crew is missing is Froemming.

Maybe the World Series will have West and Froemming down the foul lines. LMAO them running to see a potential homerun. Maybe theyll have Ray Charles in the replay booth.
