He apparantly hurt it....

Before the big 3-run shot, so hopefully that’s a sign that it wasn’t anything serious.

True, I doubt he would have stayed in the game that long, if it were serious

hopefully just a few days off to recover before the playoffs

why don't they invest

in an X-ray machine for the ballpark. That would get us quicker results!

They barely...

…have room for each players locker, much less X-ray facilities.

The Cubs are not close to league standards when it comes to medical facilities, weight room, clubhouse and batting cages. Problem is, they really can’t do anything about this until they decide to do other major renovations to the grandstand.

Way to assuage our fears, Carrie Muskat

“A leading candidate for National League Rookie of the Year, Soto WAS batting .285 with 86 RBIs.”

LOL, she makes it sound like he’s dead or something.

ESPN 1000 is reporting the X Rays were negative...

We're fine.

If Soto hit the HR with a messed up hand I’m sure that with a day or 2 of rest he’ll be fine.

DeRosa: And who is the best and who is the worst card player?

Dempster: I think the best is yourself. [ . . .] I think the worst player is D-Lee. I think he bets every time just to bet.

Not Breaking News.

Media made a big deal about pre-cautionary x-rays. He’s fine.
