Dear. God.
The Met’s announcers are comparing the black bat being hit with the ball with the black cat. Ridiculous.

I wouldn't call it an experiment...
Called up when Fonzie was injured, hit .400
Sent back down after Fonzie back.
Called back up with expanded rosters.

Sorry for the really stupid question -
I thought I caught a glimpse of Harden in the dugout, and he had a goatee. Did anyone else see that? Or was I looking at someone else?
LOL

Im shocked that TBS would put the Cubs on during the day. That slot screams Rays-White Sox or Brewers-Phillies

Well every player I've heard
(usually interviewed on ESPN 1000) have said they respect what day baseball means to the Cubs but ultimately the would prefer more night games Rest, obviously being the motivating factor.

nothing to worry about.
We have home field advantage clinched. All that’s left is to play with our food and decide which is going to be the salad dish or the main course. The dessert, of course, is always a suprise.

I will add on
Met announcers, as mentioned above, of Gary Cohen of the Mets announcing team, must have stated the “black bat” and Black cat reference 3 times in the ninth and then in closing when the game was over.
Want nothing more for “Z” and Harden shut them down. Jeez guys find something else to say. How about Marshall walking Castillo then having to face Wright, that was the play of the game.
"Have You heard of the Boom on Mizar 5?"
Jon Kruk lashed out at Sean Marshall on Baseball Tonight.
His argument was that Marshall quit after Johan Santana hit the fluke single. I disagree because Marshall struck out the next batter. The fact that Marshall raised his arm in disbelief after Santana’s broken bat hit the ball in play doesn’t mean Marshall quit, whined or felt sorry for himself, but Kruk interpreted it that way.
Anyone agrees with Kruk?
wasn't he the one who said in 05 Randy Johnson would win 30 games?
so if I agree with Kruk: ah, no..
