Lou does some good but just as much bad
He absolutely can not handle the bullpen and it will kill us. As I say over and over he coddles some guys and thinks
ONLY for the moment not so much as one inning ahead so this is why as I have said I know way too many times
He uses an entire bench in 9 inning road game that goes 10, Has Marmol pitch with a six run lead AND leaves him in to give
up 5 in the 9th, has some INSANE compulsion to KEEP using Howry in crucial situations and drives useful players from the team. This is a MUCH better roster than ANY Cub manager has had in our lifetime and no he does NOT get credit for that.
I just want to him to kick dirt ,say funny things and stay out the way as much as possible. If our starters go 7 innings we
no problem but otherwise watch out.
If they win the WS he can take or be given all the credit he wants , hey Zell will get credit and all he does is stay out of the way.

Think we should shelf him for the playoffs
and let him work his issues out in the off-season? DeRosa, Johnson and potentially Ward (if you dont mind sacrificing defense) could play right.

Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,

If they don’t win it’s a shame.

At the old ball game.”
