Playoff photo project (please read) (unless you're a tool ;) )

Hi everyone! So I've been working on my own mini photo/art project with Wrigley Field for this season and in doing so I came upon an idea for a new project.

I think it would be really cool to have a collection of photos from the playoffs this year - and not just the on field action but also photos of Cubs fans and people in Chicago and Wrigleyville during the games (and the aftermath, etc). I think that capturing the regular fans and all the peripheral action in addition to what's going on at the games is a great way to memorialize the whole experience - whether joy or heartbreak - for future generations of Cubs fans and/or current ones who want to remember it all (hopefully we won't want to block all of this out of our memories) in the future.

I will most likely be roaming around the area during the games and taking photos but unfortunately I also have a job and it is unlikely that I will be attending any of the playoff games (my job doesn't pay that well! ;) ) to get the on field action as well.

This means that I'm not going to be able to do this all by myself, which is where BCB comes in. If you like to take photos and want to contribute to something like this please feel free to send any photos in to the e-mail address I've created for this project:

WrigleyInOctober@gmail.com

I don't yet know what form these photos will take in the end... that will probably be determined by how many people actually want to participate, but if you can, please include your name and some details about what the photo contains when you send it in. You don't have to do this, of course, but I'd like to be able to attribute any images properly in the end...

Well I guess that's about it... if you have any suggestions or comments about how to pull this thing together please feel free to reply, as I'd be interested in any ideas!
