I'm still a big fan of Guzman's
Today pretty much seals up the fact that he won’t be on the playoff roster. Hopefully he can be a big part of the team next year.

Holding up a “Completely Useless By September” sign. And he seemed so proud of the cleverness of it, and all the Cubs fans could just watch him make a fool of himself.

I don't know all of the rules but Len was saying something like the roster can be
changed at some point. Maybe after the NLCS? Wish I knew the rules more.

So if the Cubs win the NLDS, they can change their roster for the NLCS.

SO here's a thought
We’ve seen how good CC is. We know that he’s going to be a FA come the end of the season. So assuming that the brewers can’t keep him do the cubs go after him hard? Marquis would probably have to go, but you would have a rotation of Z, CC, Dempster, Harden and Lilly. That would be one hell of a rotation
isn't demp a FA also?
little to no chance of CC being a Cub
why?
Because of money? I would think the cubs wouldn’t have a problem with that, especially if they win it all this year
Because the Cubs have...
…Z, Lilly, Harden and Marquis under contract for next year, would probably like to keep Dempster, and have Samardzija and Gaudin to find spots for as well.
