BE IN A CUBS MOVIE!

HEY HEY CUBS FANS!

Do you want to be in a movie?

The producers of WE BELIEVE: CHICAGO AND ITS CUBS, a new documentary film celebrating the love affair between a great city and its ball team, invite Cubs fans from around the world to submit your own videos for possible inclusion in the upcoming feature film due for release Spring 2009!

The producers are looking for videos of fans wearing Cubs gear standing in front of landmarks from the Eiffel Tower to the Great Wall of China...from Seattle's Needle to St. Louis' arch...from Times Square to Trafalgar Square…or wherever you are.  Videos should not be more than 1 minute long. On camera fans should tell us where they are, what they think of this year's Cubs team and why they root for the Cubs.

Please submit your video to youbelieve@webelievethemovie.com

If your video is selected we will email you a release form to fill out and send back. No video will be accepted unless accompanied by a signed release form.

The Chicago Cubs and the City of Chicago will be brilliantly combined in this powerful and passionate documentary film set against the 2008 baseball season and the 100th Anniversary of the last Cubs win at the World Series.  Filming for the documentary has been underway since February 2008 the opening of Cubs Spring Training Camp in Mesa, Arizona.  The filming will be completed at the end of the CUBS 2008 season and the documentary will be released in early 2009.

Good Luck with your Entry and Go Cubs!!

I'd like to play Kerry Wood, if possible.

That’s right, ladies. The line starts here.

I can totally play Mike Fontenot

I’m already the correct height!

Let me know who’s playing Zambrano so I can start rehearsing the pregame dugout ritual.

No, seriously...

… these are the people who you’ve probably heard about who are making a full-length feature film about this season. This is a REAL opportunity for you to get your photos or videos into the movie. If you’ve got good stuff, send it to them.

Heck, send ’em the photos of you guys wearing your BCB shirts. Those were pretty cool.

It's rec'd

I’ll see if I can take the camcorder out to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway – it’s about the most famous thing we have here. And yes, I’ll wear by BCB shirt if I get out there.

The only piece of Cubs gear I have is a shirt that says, "Cubbie Bear"

I wonder if that would work? I can get photos or video of me at the Pyramids, the Sphinx, Valley of the Kings (going there in a couple days), plus many other places.

I actually wore it to the top of Mt. Sinai, got a picture of it, figured the Cubs could use all the help they could get and that is one of the most holy sites in the world, so why not?

How about me in my 2003 Cubs World Series Shirt?

It’s in a drawer somewhere.

When we went to pull the tusks out, we found they were in too tight.

Now, the Tuscaloosa in Alabama.

Me: Yeah! Just because we don't live there doesn't mean they won't let us vote!

If only I had taken a photo

of me in my Cubs T Shirt at Versailles almost 20 years ago. I even heckled a Mets fan wearing a cap as I was leaving.

as it stands, I think I took a photo in my Cubs hat from up there…

Done

I sent them the videos my wife shot of Z’s 9th 9/14 @ Miller Park. I’m willing to let the world see me cry.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space. That day appears to be near.

I'm gonna do mine from here:

Seriously, though…

I just got back from trip to Disney World, and I had a few comments on my Cubs t-shirt. I saw some folks wearing other Cubs stuff and always said hi. I also chatted with a guy who was wearing a cool early 80s style Phillies jersey, with number 14 on the back—he said the manufacturer refused to put Rose’s name on the back.
