Twin Cities fans - group game watching anywhere?

Who among us living here in MN wants to watch at least one or two of the games someplace as a group?

I suggested this last year, to no avail, and it was over very quickly in any case.  This year, I expect (well, hope anyway) things will be different.

I live in St. Paul, so of course I'm going to be partial to the E. Metro.  That said, I'm definitely willing to entertain any suggestions anyone might have about either city or most inner-ring 'burbs.  And my work schedule has taken me on the road quite a bit of late, so if I'm even going to be around is always an open question.  Still, I thought I'd put this up just to see (a) if there's any interest, and (b) to provide it as a rallying point for the few other Cub fans here in the Cities.

Oh, and go Twins, sorta...

I'd be interested...

I live on the West side however…don’t know the east side too well, but I’m open to suggestions.

I could get together for either tomorrow’s games or the Sunday/Tuesday games (hopefully these won’t even exist in our favor).

A couple of suggestions for St Louis Park (1st ring on this side) would be Park Tavern or JJ’s Clubhouse. Both have great food, and last year the Park Tavern had Cubbie feel for the playoffs. But like I said I’d be open to suggestions in St. Paul (especially if we did something around St. Thomas since I at least kind of know that area and its close to MPLS).

I'll be cheering extra hard from Chicago

Go Twins!
I miss Minneapolis. I lived in Edina during my college years, 10 years ago. They couldn’t give away Twins tickets back then, so I took them all. I must’ve gone to at least 40 games during the 1998 season. Nothing much happened that season, other than me catching my one and only foul ball, off the bat of a Tigers player.
Sorry for ranting. Go Twins! And Cubs, of course.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space. That day appears to be near.

Anyone want to get together at my work

in Bemidji? I’ve got to work during both games tomorrow and Thursday (but can watch while I work – yeah, my boss is cool)…

I forgot to add that

we’d have to watch on a 13" TV in a radio station studio, and I’d have to ask you to be quiet when I talked on the air, even if the Cubs hit a home run at that very moment… If that sounds fun, let’s get together!
