SRO tixx?
i have bought many standing room seats this year at wrigley. about halfway through the season they started the "must enter wrigley immediately if you buy day of game tickets" and built a little corral system outside the first base side on addison.
i drove by wrigley today and saw that the corral is gone. not a bad decision; with all the people in the area for playoff games more square feet of sidewalk is a good thing.
however, does this mean that standing rooms are not going to be sold day of game for the playoffs? have they already been sold? are they going to allow people to buy them and then come back later? (that one seems unlikely)
anyone with any info/ideas on the subject, (for example, if you already bought SRO that means they're probably selling none on the day of game) please let me know. i am going to try to go tomorrow but have no idea what the deal is and would prefer not to spend my time wandering around wrigleyville to try to find out.

I believe SRO tickets are already gone
And were sold as part of the drawing. Some friends of mine bought SRO tickets when they were selected.

There will be no day of game ticket sales.
And when I say “none”, I don’t mean “well, there aren’t any now but there might be some returns or tickets released later”.
There are no tickets left for sale. The playoffs are a MLB event and they run ticket sales. So anyone who lines up expecting to get a ticket tomorrow is going to be disappointed.

We have plenty of towels
Thanks
For your information, the Supreme Court has roundly rejected prior restraint.

Best Place to Stand?
Is there any particular standing room spot that is better than the others? Anyone know if fans are allowed to stand in the outfield corners behind sections 202 or 240 along the fence where the corporate suites aren’t in your site line—in my mind those could potentially be nice spots to watch the game…

I question this too
As I’ve never had SRO tickets before and not sure where is best or allowed to stand at.

There is space there
basically there is a yellow line that runs above the 200 sections where you are allowed to stand- my favorite is to grab a spot where you can perch on the railing not too far from the beer stand- that way you are not standing the whole time.

thanks for the info guys
even though it makes me sad.
as for the best place to stand, i like standing on the last ramps up in the LF and RF corners bc as you mention, there are no skyboxes above you and you can see the flight of balls, and the ‘feeling’ is much less obstructed. you are also above the stands enough that when people stand up for big moments (probably often in the playoffs) you aren’t blocked out.
you are allowed to stand there, there are yellow lines on the ground.

I went to the Playoff game last year
SRO, and found a spot right behind home plate, but unfortunately home plate was obstructed. Thanks for the tip, do those spots fill up quickly?
Also does anyone know if you can stand on the ramps up to the 400 level behind the 200 level (I’m talking behind the dugouts)?
