I'm pretty sure this falls firmly in the realm of sarcasm, but it is a good thing for us to remember too. Its always good to lean back, take a deep breath, and laugh at ourselves every now and again. If this isn't sarcasm on their part, they need to see how we live year to year so they too can learn the zen of the penant race.

That would be "What am I looking at?"

Sorry

Its the picture of Woody that says its a perfect time to start panicing

Time is an illusion--lunch time doubly so.

Seriously?

You seriously posted a link to the Evil BCB? Are you insane?

I’m sorry, but I’m issuing you a technical balk in triplicate and deducting 1,000 BCB points from your account. Another screwup like this and I may be forced to require you to subject yourself to the ancient art of sand pounding.

"I see the playoff schedule posted in the paper, and that stuff makes me nervous because you can't take anything for granted. We have a great team. We have a really good team. We're playing well, but we haven't won yet." - Jim Edmonds, 8/31/08

I'm a fairly

open-minded individual and open to seeing humor in just about anything—even bizarro BCB. I frequent there to see what the competition is saying and happened to see something there that we Cubs fans at the one and true BCB might appreciate more that just about any other fans in baseball, especially the ones that put that picture up.

Time is an illusion--lunch time doubly so.

Sigh...alright...

…but just to save everyone from dirtying themselves by entering that den if iniquity, here’s the picture in question:

The caption reads: “This is the perfect time to panic!”

Funny cause that rocket is clearly blasting off NOT crashing.

"Every player should be accorded the privilege of at least one season with the Chicago Cubs. That's baseball as it should be played - in God's own sunshine. And that's really living." - Alvin Dark

I think we should refer to the "other" BCB as

The bizarro BCB, like that Seinfeld episode with bizarro Jerry. Everything is the exact opposite there as it is here.

"Okay, just so I understand it...in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil."- Jim Halpert

I prefer "Evil."

"Pseudo-"

My next sig line quote will also be from Lou Piniella, and the first word will be either "Look", or "Listen", followed by a comma.

They call us

bizzaro BCB. They have always been evil BCB to me.

Not going there..

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been . . . baseball.

Does Soriano's defense at 2B really cost more runs than in LF? He makes a lot fewer errors in LF since misplays and mental mistakes aren't figured into the stats, but I have to imagine that his mistakes are more physical at 2B. Any thoughts? Is there a statistic on this?
