NO!

My dog’s here, but he’s drinking Coronas tonight. And my neighbor is bringing more drink reinforcements.

we need a brainstorming session during this rain delay.

We must begin to think about alternatives to oil...

our nation cannot be held hostage by the suppliers and risk seeing the day when poles around the country stand empty and dancer-less.

We think creatively

we will use lard obtained from lipsuction… an endless supply that begs to be repurposed!

Yes...and perhaps with more stem cell research...

we can synthesize it in a lab environment! The massive liposuction demand could drive the cost of health care up.

Good story

I saw it as a first date with a youth pastor that was new in town. My mom set us up, gulp. I was worried about what to say or not say until the movie started. There were a couple of older ladies sitting behind us doing commentary on the opening scenes. They were scanning the wreckage and showing things like money, china, eye glasses, etc. They kept saying oh look, glasses! oh look, silverware! etc etc. Finally the pastor said oh look a sunken ship! It went all right and was sure interesting, but we didn’t go on another date.

Ch. 666-1 on Directv and all of a sudden, they switched it to regular CSN. I don’t have Extra Innings or nothing, just local TV.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

I just have to flip through the first 5 or 6 sports alt channels and find the game when it’s not on WGN or Comcast. Cand o the same for other “area” teams. I cna find Cards, Sox, and Brewers games easily too.

I'm not too upset...

This team looks just like they did on that Houston-Arizona road trip right after the ASB. They came out of it playing great.

The same is going to happen this time — just in time for the playoffs.

this team is going to be fine.....

one week ago they looked like world beaters….they’ve led the Majors in offense for 130 games. Everybody needs to take a deep breath…they will be OK. Be glad Milwaukee is stinking up the place as well.

This is the time to use McGeehee...

Save Hoff for later in the game.

We gotta take these bastards.

Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody’s part…

Good News, Bad News

Good News:
Starting to really get Arroyo on the pitch count – 10, 20, 25

Bad News:
By the time he’s out of the game, we’ll be down 11-2

Beep, Beep, Beep

That’s the sound of the Cubs backing into the playoffs.

For God's sake, we have two hits

Respect the baserunner. Encourage more baserunners.
