Our supporters want to know what our campaign's plan is to fight/prevent pole burn...
we need a brainstorming session during this rain delay.

We think creatively
we will use lard obtained from lipsuction… an endless supply that begs to be repurposed!
Yes...and perhaps with more stem cell research...
we can synthesize it in a lab environment! The massive liposuction demand could drive the cost of health care up.

Good story
I saw it as a first date with a youth pastor that was new in town. My mom set us up, gulp. I was worried about what to say or not say until the movie started. There were a couple of older ladies sitting behind us doing commentary on the opening scenes. They were scanning the wreckage and showing things like money, china, eye glasses, etc. They kept saying oh look, glasses! oh look, silverware! etc etc. Finally the pastor said oh look a sunken ship! It went all right and was sure interesting, but we didn’t go on another date.

That darn

If I didn’t need to watch my Cubs and I didn’t haveto work tonight, UI would go see it. Washington vs Metamora. A clash of the titans here in central IL.

So
I am guessing that the guys on the field are imposters. Dusty hired some muscle to gag and tie up the real team and hide them in lockers

Stall!
The only thing we can hope for is a rainout.

I pray for heavy rain from now until tomorrow morning

pitchers have bad starts
Lilly has been consistently good and this happens. But, as a playoff pitcher lilly is a concern because of how many HR he gives up. The offense is a train wreck at this point and even if we hold on AZ will slaughter us again in short order.
Is Rose betting on the Reds tonight? It that why this is happening?

Pinella's summer "rest the starters" strategy
is really paying off. These guys looked totally rested for the stretch run. Rested or Rest in Peace.
No leaders stepping up.
None. Total team suckfest.

like the despair.com posters
The one that says Despair, it’s always darkest right before it goes pitch black or the one that says Challenges, I expected times like this – but I never thought they’d be so bad, so long, and so frequent.

Pretty craptastic thus far
it is early though. Maybe The bullpen will be lights out and Jedmonds can be a homerun hitting fool and win this game for us. Never thought I would type such things, but here it is.

I'm not too upset...
This team looks just like they did on that Houston-Arizona road trip right after the ASB. They came out of it playing great.
The same is going to happen this time — just in time for the playoffs.

this team is going to be fine.....
one week ago they looked like world beaters….they’ve led the Majors in offense for 130 games. Everybody needs to take a deep breath…they will be OK. Be glad Milwaukee is stinking up the place as well.
This is the time to use McGeehee...
Save Hoff for later in the game.

We gotta take these bastards.
Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody’s part…
"It's Happening..."
Good News, Bad News
Good News:
Starting to really get Arroyo on the pitch count – 10, 20, 25
Bad News:
By the time he’s out of the game, we’ll be down 11-2
