My dog’s here, but he’s drinking Coronas tonight. And my neighbor is bringing more drink reinforcements.

we need a brainstorming session during this rain delay.

Oil, of course

by Emelie on Sep 5, 2008 6:15 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

We must begin to think about alternatives to oil...

our nation cannot be held hostage by the suppliers and risk seeing the day when poles around the country stand empty and dancer-less.

We think creatively

we will use lard obtained from lipsuction… an endless supply that begs to be repurposed!

Yes...and perhaps with more stem cell research...

we can synthesize it in a lab environment! The massive liposuction demand could drive the cost of health care up.

Good story

I saw it as a first date with a youth pastor that was new in town. My mom set us up, gulp. I was worried about what to say or not say until the movie started. There were a couple of older ladies sitting behind us doing commentary on the opening scenes. They were scanning the wreckage and showing things like money, china, eye glasses, etc. They kept saying oh look, glasses! oh look, silverware! etc etc. Finally the pastor said oh look a sunken ship! It went all right and was sure interesting, but we didn’t go on another date.

I was watching on CSN+

Ch. 666-1 on Directv and all of a sudden, they switched it to regular CSN. I don’t have Extra Innings or nothing, just local TV.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

by chilango2 on Sep 5, 2008 6:48 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Where are you located?

I have DirecTV and still have the game on channel 666.

by sue369 on Sep 5, 2008 6:49 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I'm in Chicago

I get it in SD on Ch.666, but not in HD on 666-1 or 724-1.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

by chilango2 on Sep 5, 2008 6:51 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Ch. 724-1 is also regular CSN.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

DishNET for me.

It was there until they went to commercial on HD, now it’s on, but only on the regular channel. Weird.

When bored, turn on GSN (Game Show Network)

Of course, there’s always LMN (Lifetime Movie Network) and the Hallmark Channel to entertain us ladies!

Hey, it's a new century!

by cowsarecool220 on Sep 5, 2008 6:46 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

So glad I have Dish

I just have to flip through the first 5 or 6 sports alt channels and find the game when it’s not on WGN or Comcast. Cand o the same for other “area” teams. I cna find Cards, Sox, and Brewers games easily too.

Can anyone confirm?

Is this the first time this year that Dome has batted 8th against a RHP?

I’d rather have him bat 8th so he doesn’t mess up the lineup while playing great defense.

Every part of this team is falling apart

Hitting went first, fielding followed and now pitching. The team is cratering and this could be a very long losing streak and potentially one of the more monumental collapses in baseball history. This team is unrecognizable at this point.
