Dan Plesac had

his rally cap on in the pregame show. It is time to turn this losing streak around. Let’s do this Cubs!!!!

Looks like SBN is acting goofy tonight. I’ve noticed several double posts.

YESSSSSSSS

Comcast SportsNet is finally captioned!!! I’m hearing impaired and since CSN is a relatively new station, they had not yet captioned it – so I generally preferred WGN…hence my screen name. But today I turned the game on and lo and behold…CAPTIONS! I can now “listen” to Bob and Len. This may seem small to most of you, but it’s huge for me. May more good things follow! Like WINS.

by cubsonWGN4ever on Sep 6, 2008 6:04 PM CDT reply actions

hope they are fairly legible

I’ve noticed captions to be a bit… improvisational

Thanks!

I actually spoke to someone at the CSN home office at the beginning of this season and they mentioned that they were in the process of finding sponsors for their captioning apparatus – Dodge sponsors WGN captions, for example – and I guess they must have found one. Not sure who it is yet.

I dind't know it wasn't captioned

but yay for equal access. :-) hope they’re accurate.

Can’t get the game on TV here in mid-Michigan but we are just close enough to get WGN-AM on the radio in my van. Sooo, I have the van parked in the garage, Pat & Ron’s voices booming out of the open windows while the connecting door is open to the house where I sit in the kitchen at my computer.

Couldn’t stomache listening to Cincy’s Marty B. on XM again…

SO let’s pull out all the stops! Go Cubs!
