Damn!
Not yet, at least win one game before going south again!
D Lee’s error didn’t help much
I hope that this doesn’t mean that our 7th straight loss is going to be a major choke job.
huh?

Go Green! Go White! GO STATE! (#13031 on the Cubs season ticket waiting list...)
unbelievable
Just 10 minutes ago, the Reds needed 2 runs per out to tie the game
NOW THEY ONLY NEED 1 per
Misread Gameday...
thought the Cubs gave up a 5th run in that inning.
ok so back to 2R per O.
I guess we can just call the 8th a fluke…right?
3 outs. Cubs coming up in the 9th
Cubs 11 — Reds 5

Wow, they tried to lose
I last checked, and it was 10-1. 14-9? Looking at the stats, Samardjila and Wuertz each did their best Howry impression. At least the bats were finally working. Good to see a win, it’s been too long.

They are all good wins, no matter how we get them. This one meant more than just how it will affect the standing.
It gets the ship turning in the right direction and starts some momentum forward. Don’t look back now, just look to October and focus on winning the last game we play this year, after the end of the regular season.

She's sexy and 17
my little rock and roll queen!!
Song by the Stray Cats and the Cubs magic number is 17!
I'll take it...
but I’m not really happy about giving up 8 runs in the 8th and 9th. But, a win is a win, and we dropped the Magic Number on our own for the first time in a week.
BTW, the game against the Astros Wednesday sucked. At least we didn’t get rained on.
Long days and pleasant nights.
