On my TV it looked like he both beat the runner to the bag and had possession of the ball..
The umpire signaled that he was not on the bag after making the safe call and I think he didn’t see Cotts’ foot on the side of the bag.

Their best qualities are that they’re cheaper than anything, they’re hot and they’re available at 3 am.
