I have a quick question idk how else to find out, but Im THINKING about askin my girl to marry me during the Cardinals series towards the end of April and does anybody know if there is anyway or if its even possible to maybe put it up on the digital sign or Idk what to call it under the scoreboard. Maybe somebody up in the press box just type it in in the middle of a inning. I live in Iowa and im not sure how to go about it. I dont mean to get all mushy on everybody ha but if anybody could give me some advice or info Id really appreciate it. Thank You.

Here's your answer.
You can put messages on the board for a $25 contribution to Cubs Care. Call the Cubs office, they’ll help you with this.

So, to answer your question, Eric...
…yes.
Yes, yes ... winter is indeed a pond upon which all of us must skate, braving frostbite and runny noses in the hopes that our cars will start and we shan't embarass ourselves slipping on a patch of black ice. Spring is more a quagmire of cold mud and slush, and fall is a pile of fallen leaves that may or may not hide a pile of doggy doo-doo. But summer, ah summer is an oasis of endless green that disappears all too quickly beneath our feet as we rush through its warm, glorious bliss.

Just my suggestion: Don't Do it at a Cubs game.
Everybody will be looking at you and it will get rather uncomfortable for her. Unless Wrigley has a very special meaning for you, such as you meeting her there, it’s probably for the best to do it either at home or a place that does have special meaning.

It would only...
be uncomfortable for the girl if she says (or wants to say) no. And one would hope that he wouldn’t choose to ask in such a public way if he wasn’t confident of the answer…

Aweseome idea, but...
if she’s not a HUGE baseball fan, then don’t do it this way. Seriously.

I have gotten her to be a big baseball fan. We just recently got a Golden Retriever puppy and she named him Wrigley. And wants to name our boy Aramis lol. She can probably name the whole 25 man roster that clinched last year, but thanks everybody for your opinions and info

If she is such a big Cubs fan
how come you know she does not read BCB and you are ruining the surprise ?

Hope There's No History on the Computer
She better not look on your computer and see this a web site visited to ruin the surprise. That might be as bad as if she looked on your computer and found “adult” sites visited. Eric16 is a class guy and would never view that “filth”.

Greatest Day of My Life...
September 27th 2003.
Cubs/Pirates doubleheader, Cubbies swept, clinching the division. During the party outside the stadium, I got down on one knee and proposed. Very memorable, but mostly because of the surroundings.
So you should wait until the Cubs clinch something (division, pennant, etc…)
