Troy Glaus out 12 weeks after shoulder surgery
How does this change the NL Central race and the ability of the Cardinals to contend?

Hate to see people get hurt.
But I’m not unhappy he won’t be playing until at least May.

Word on STL Radio yesterday
was that it will probably be more than 12 weeks. Their beat writer said that Glaus has a tear in his shoulder and that a 12 week recovery time is extremely optomistic. It will probably be David Friese’s job to lose in spring training. He came to STL from San Diego in the Edmonds trade and put up pretty good numbers in triple A last year.

IIRC..
He was downright terrible against the Cubs (for the most part) this past season.
That doesn’t mean he didnt punish other teams, though. Oh well, sorry Troy…… but I’m not bummed.
