Can anyone out there make me a copy of, "Forever Cubs"?
Looking for a copy of "Forever Cubs", that aired last year on WGN. There was a BCB'er that said they could make me a copy and then I never heard anything again. I can be reached at: onemanfilms@yahoo.com

I hear Ronnie "Woo Woo" has a few

If I had it
I would….sorry. I too am without it

Why not
spare us acts of piracy and buy yourself a copy of “Cubs Forever” on amazon?
Here’s the Link
The book includes a DVD with what was broadcast on WGN.
Alternatively you could continue to try and get fellow BCBer’s to break the copyright laws.
The DVD with the book does not include the game footage from WGN
And, I don’t believe it’s breaking copyright laws if you don’t make a profit on it.
Any lawyers out there that can confirm/refute?

Copyright holder
Has certain exclusive rights which as you say allow them to sell copies of their work. It can still be breaking the law if you fall outside something called the “Fair-use doctrine”. I won’t get into all the details since my comment assumed that the poster was not aware of the book and dvd companion. Alternatively, the cynic in me, might have assumed the poster was trying to avoid paying for the broadcast. In either event, since you say that certain footage is excluded from the DVD then I guess there would be sufficient motivation to have someone copy it.
My point in clowning on the post was pretty simple, a selfish desire to make oneself feel better by making jest at others. You caught me red-handed Badger.
S'alright
Wasn’t trying to “catch” you, but then, if anyone should know red, it’s a Badger. Especially one that’s lived in China . . . .

Wow guys, calm down
I have the book and the dvd. The program that aired on wgn was completely different than what was on the dvd with the book.
I had it recorded, and my daughter accidently deleted it before I burned it to a dvd.
I thought someone out there might have it still and could make me a vhs or dvd.
Not trying to break any laws, looking for personal enjoyment viewing only.
Again, if anyone can help, thanks!

Ok I’m good now.
One other thing tho, we’re talking about copyright laws…but about the laws against “accidentally deleting” Cubs programming. I hope justice was served.
