Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Looks like it's the end of the line for Rich. We knew it and I bid him farewell and good luck.

I hope he does good in the AL and is a second coming of Cliff Lee (not likely). I'd be sick to my stomach but still.

So why....

did he melt down? No College of Coaches to blame this one on like was suggested with Joe Schaffernoth. So is it Lou’s fault? Rothchild? Nope, shit just happens sometimes.

I did witness a distubing scene last year in Mesa

Hill was wild and got the hook in the first inning and was sent to the bullpen to throw for over a half hour…..he was visually shaken and demoralized in front of all the fans. Bad psychology.

Of Course its Baltimore

The irony is delicious. Two seperate O’s deals involving two guys who couldve, in part, landed Roberts last year, now land one bum who was spun off for Heilman and now a “player to be named later”

Okay, just so I understand it... in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.

This is why I said

Ask me in 10 days…..Hendry is in trade mode, and I would not be surprised if we had 3 more trades following this

Who else would be traded?

If they get rid of Hill, they wouldve shedded their out of options players, unless someone is gracious enough to take Fukudome

I have no clue

but I just have a feeling this is not the end of the moves by Hendry. I could be wrong, but I haev a hunch.

Have the Cubs sent him to sports shrink?

Is that headline from last May?
The Orioles will likely give up a player to be named who could be contingent on Hill’s success in Baltimore.

So, we’ll probably get some batting practice baseballs and a mop.

I remember when he was solid in 2007...

…and we had thought we had found ourselves a real solid pitcher in our system.

I remember that 11 K game.

:::sigh:::

I do hope he finds himself. He just wasn’t / isnt going to do it here.

"It's hard to win 97 games, it's hard to win the division. Our attitude is if you get in every year, you get in most of the time, sooner or later you are going to knock that door down." -- Jim Hendry

God, this is terrible .. I still will forever be haunted ...

rembering how Rich eviscerated the Reds the night after the Cubs clinched the division in 2007 ..

Rich just looked darn well unhittable. He wasn’t overpowering but he was in control. What an afternoon!

I felt certain we’d found a starter to put the Prior memories to bed .. and we looked forward to 2008

Not.

Well, Next Year is here .. and Jack's century's gotta end some time .. GO CUBBIES!

Well, of course it is.

Doesn’t EVERY SINGLE MOVE that Hendry makes set that trade up?
