Downloadable schedule

Being an east coast Cub fan does come with some sacrifices.  The TV coverage has increased as the team wins more, but it still lags.  Fellow fans are few and far between here in CNJ.  My XM takes me to everygame and listening to the games, i can almost transport myself to Wrigley.  Does anyone know where I can find a 2009 Cubs schedule to download - the catch - I want Eastern times.

Thanks in advance

Curse you, Sabermagician!

Yes, yes ... winter is indeed a pond upon which all of us must skate, braving frostbite and runny noses in the hopes that our cars will start and we shan't embarass ourselves slipping on a patch of black ice. Spring is more a quagmire of cold mud and slush, and fall is a pile of fallen leaves that may or may not hide a pile of doggy doo-doo. But summer, ah summer is an oasis of endless green that disappears all too quickly beneath our feet as we rush through its warm, glorious bliss.

I had a Cubs Calendar for 2008

that incorporated my google calendar. I think it would take time-zones into account…

Just an FYI

That downloadable schedule doesn’t have all of the Cubs’ home game times on it yet. So, you will have home games showing up in your calendar for 8 a.m. ET and scheduled for half an hour.

I’d recommend waiting until you see home game times posted to download the schedule.

No...those are the correct times.

You must have not heard that Hendry lured Maddux out of retirement.

As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

Along the same lines...

Usually...

… they come out at the convention. But the ones handed out there don’t have the TV schedule on them.

One of these might be worth a shot

Option A

Option B

I don’t think either one has the new season yet, but if you subscribe to one of these, you can set it up to update weekly.

I used Option A last year

It was great, if you subscribe to it rather than downloading, it will update scores and any makeup games or time changes. I’ve used Option B (Yahoo) before, it does the job, but the first one is great.

Actually, I just looked at my calendar...

I was very excited to see my calendar already has the schedule including spring training up! Use Option A (linked above) for sure.

if you have iCal

you can sync to ipod. When your ipod is connected to your computer, and you click on your ipod icon on the left side, one of the tabs on top will allow you to add a calendar to your ipod.

Maybe you can sync to other calendars, too, but I wouldn’t know.

HEY AL,

Will there be a Wrigley Season ticket 09 ?? And how can we get them ?? Had to keep last years under lock and key ,,,,Everyone wanted to borrow it .

by cubs north on Jan 8, 2009 8:16 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Yes, there will be a WST '09...

… although it will have a different title. It will be out sometime in February. I’ll post info here on how to get them when they’re available.

And if everyone wanted to borrow yours… you should have just told them to buy their own! :)

That's great news, Al.

I loved last year’s edition.
