I wasn't surprised
but when Jim was talking about the outfield he mentioned RJ, Fuku, Gathright, and Gameboard. There was no mention of Pie even being on the roster. Like I said this wasn’t surprising but just thought it was a good indicator that he is good as gone.

Yup...
It should have been evident from the day we signed Gathright that Pie isn’t going to be on the team next year. His value to the Cubs is greater as a part of a trade than it is to the Cubs, because he just doesn’t have a place to play here now.
