Wow-it appears the Cubs thought the season was over after Dempster's shutout.

Losing 3 of 4 to the Pirates at home is a nice way to end the season. The diamondbacks are better than the pirates so maybe we can win one game this weekend.

Right.

I don’t know if it was him for sure or not. But about 5 minutes before the opening pitch about 15 guys in suits came walking around the infield and sat in the premium seats next to the dugout. I just assumed it was him and his boys.

OT: Chicago or Tokyo, or...

Final presentation for 2016 Olympic games is underway in Copenhagen – it goes to either Chicago, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro or Madrid… I don’t care which city will host it (I’ll watch it on TV in anyway) and baseball won’t be part of it. I am not sure how many citizen of Chicago are right on it and I know many of Tokyo folks are against it, but hopely it goes to Chicago or Tokyo.
The winner will be announced in 8 hours.
