Ex-Cub Geremi Gonzalez died last year when hit by lightning. Or did he? Now there are questions being raised, so his body is being exhumed.

That's sad

The person who did it should just fess up and not make the family exhume their own loved ones body.

Not likely

If someone is capable of killing someone else and selling their belongings, that person likely is not going to have qualms about an exhumation.

last i checked

if a person is willing to take anothers life, they have no cares about how his/her family feels about the aftermath

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out

Correct me if I'm wrong...

but when the Marlins – yes, the Marlins (five games, 18 at bats) – were peddling Mike Piazza back in 1998, there was talk the Cubs might put a package together for him with Gonzalez as the centerpiece. I recall GM Ed Lynch saying Gonzalez et al were too much for a man who finished his career as the greatest hitting catcher of all time.

Think of a one-two punch of Sammy and Piazza over the next four and a half years! Jeez, we might never have had to endure all that 100-years-without-a-World-Series-title crap!

Joe, you coulda made us proud!
