Yes, the grass will continue to grow until the first hard freeze. I remember one year (late 90’s?) when I still lived in Blue Island, that I was still mowing in November because of a mild Autumn. All the leaves had already fallen off my trees and I had laid down my winter fertilizer. We had enough moisture and the grass kept growing. Not very fast, but I needed to cut it to keep it short for it’s WInter nap.
