in the 70s...

one night after a heavy night of beers, I got out of bed and I decided to sit down to take a leak. the next thing I know my legs are killing me. when I got back to bed I realized it was over 4 hours later—I fell asleep while taking a leak. how sad is that?

So we got Pittsburgh's version of the Sloth today.

I’m going to the doctor. Maybe some mood-altering drugs will help surviving the winter with this bad taste left from the last few games.

Well, for those of you who wanted to see plenty of Fuld and Fox and fill-in-the-blank

prospects, thinking a team full of them would propel the Cubs to the promised land …

Maybe not.

Three’s a reason these guys are bench players.

Guess that neither Samardzija nor Gorzelanny

want to be in the rotation next year.

I don't know.

I read that Olney article, but I have trouble believing the Cubs won’t offer arbitration to neither Harden nor Grabow. I think they both get offered.

He can be the official Cubs:
  • door closer
  • window closer
  • bottle closer
  • jar closer

But please don’t let have the ball in the 9th inning
