Worse....

They’ve never struck me as a classy couple to begin with, and I think there’s a great deal more money involved.

It couldn't happen to a nicer franchise

She's not going quietly

I wouldn’t be surprised to hear her fire him in the next few days. The article makes clear that she doesn’t accept his authority to fire her—and that she’s actively trying to buy him out.

This will not end well.

Of course it won't

There’s a lot of money involved and it doesn’t matter who wins. That franchise is going to be negatively impacted.

And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.

It could indeed...

… wind up in a similar situation to the Padres, where they have to dump off players to reduce payroll. Worth watching.

Sex is the first thing that goes in a bad marriage

You really think old man McCourt harassed the old lady when he probably has a girlfriend half his age?

Did she get a warning at her last performance review?

I have two friends who met at a company that we all used to work at. They were both managers, and they got married. The husband gave his wife a written performance review after they had been married a year, just like managers were required to give their employees at our company.

We all thought that it was pretty funny to hear about this, but the wife was not as amused as the rest of our gang. Who would have guessed that, 20 years later, they are long divorced?
