Cubs Players on Twitter?
Hey all.... With all this playful trash talk between Ochocinco and the Bears this week I've created a twitter account (I can't believe myself). Haven't been a big fan of the whole 'tweeting' thing but I'll admit its pretty cool to follow athletes, especially ones from around here. So it got me wondering: Does anyone know of Cubs players that tweet? Or does anyone have anyone baseball / chicago sports related that they follow?

Funny, I just tweeted about this today...
…and the answer (as far as I know) is: 0.
You can go here to see all of the confirmed/verified MLB “Tweeps.” Not a single Cubs player or coach among the bunch.
You can check my Twitter page (see sig line) for a bunch of bona fied baseball people who are on Twitter now, including Tony LaRussa (seriously) and Tommy Lasorda (still serious). I just FF’d a bunch today.

Follow Friday, dude.
C’mon, man, I know the season’s over but don’t abandon the Twitter ship.

It seems to have really caught on among baseball fans.
I really enjoy it for that purpose and that purpose only.

I've find of felt that way too...
There is no chance in hell that I will use it and find friends of mine and stuff, it’s pointless in that sense to me.
I do think it’s kind of cool to follow athletes and get a peek at what they are up to, i.e. Ochocinco, Cutler, Alex Brown, and some other guys I’ve found.
Being the college guy I am, I’m more of a facebook guy and Ill only use that to keep in touch with friends.
