Somewhere...

The members of the MLB ownership committee are just shaking there heads. This is not going to end well.

This story is so L.A.

I'd like to announce

That she’s a tramp and he’s a tool. Together they have an asshat team.

I can’t wait until the IRS looks into their books a bit closer.

Oh, come on...

…who among us DOESN’T spend $33,000 a month on new clothes? An Aaron Miles game-used jersey here, a derogatory Cardinals t-shirt there….it adds up quick!

No wonder Frank upped parking...

…to $15 from $10.

I am channeling my inner populist

I just can’t fathom spending that much money on frivilous things. Or being the kind of person that thinks those things are necessary. And, you know those $400 meals were the kind where just about everyone on the this site would walk away hungry them. $400 and you’d be looking for a Culvers to drive through on the way home.

Gotta Say.....

Us regular Los Angeles area family law lawyers are yukking it up pretty good over this. Jamie McCourt has gotten herself two absolutely outstanding high profile family lawyers in Dennis Wasser and Bert Fields (think Tom Cruise’s lawyers). Frank’s got himself a guy, Marshall Grossman, who’s a shark but necessarily a family law guy, which could matter at some point. We’re all laughing because it’s already out in the grapevine that neither side has any client control. Normally Wasser’s appeal lies in the fact he doesn’t play to the press, doesn’t allow his clients to act the fool in public while the case is pending. Apparently, ol’ Frank fired Jamie without checking with Grossman and Jamie went public with her involvement with her security guy without talking to Wasser, just to put it to Frank.

This is certain to end ugly. Frank just might be the sole owner, but California is a community property state, meaning everything they both owned get sdivvied 50/50. Frank wil likely be forced to sell the Dodgers to equalize the property settlement, just like what happened to John Moores of the Padres.

And the Dodgers have 16 free agents this offseason.

That team could be in for a huge decline next year.

But a still deep farm system...

To include a lot of very impressive young pitching. The Dodgers will be fine. In fact, if Ned Coletti were prevented from spending lavishly that would be a great thing for the franchise. Colletti suffers from Jim Hendry disease in this regard.

Mrs. McCourt was diddling the help

Looks like the lawyers are going to get real rich on this one.
