Jumbotrons, Renaming Wrigley, and Crane Kenney
Here is a highly opinionated article by Andy Dolan, worth a read. So BCB'ers are you in support of renaming Wrigley, installing a jumbotron in the park, or firing Crane Kenney?

I actually found this opinionated article a waste of time.
The only thing worthwhile was the picture of Beaver Cleaver and the last sentence. Everything in between was just a bad attempt at humor. Dolan belongs on Red Eye on Fox News—it is about that level of smarmy humor. I guess this is not my style of humor.
Don’t take my post as anger towards you for posting it—that is fine. Ricketts just shelled out top of the market pricing for the Cubs while we are now a year deep into a serious recession. I just don’t think we need a twerp like Dolan treating the Ricketts family like this, humor (bad attempt) or not.
Two thumbs down from LA (and a 50+ year long suffering but excited-for-new-ownership Cub fan).

Agreed
But I did like this line:
“in an interview with the comely Carrie Musk®at "
Hehehe, pretty mean, but it made me chuckle a bit. Does this make me a bad person?
Yes, I think it does. dang it.
"Ask Dad. He'll know. And on the off chance he doesn't, he'll make something up"
pardon the double negative...
But I won’t disagree.

Disagree
But I think that I know where you are coming from.
I read Andy’s web site regularly, but he updates it irregularly. He is smarmy. I am in my 50s (just arrived this year), just like you guys, and I don’t find that type of humor as funny as I used to, but I think that Andy has some valuable insights and can be pretty funny. When I first shopped for a Cubs fan online presence last year, I decided to keep looking in on Desipio.com and HireJimEssian.com, but I spend most of my time here at BCB because of the active community that Al has built.
