This picture really does say it all.

Sigh.

Great work as always, Damen.

Well said, Goodie. Here’s to 2010!

The "L" flag kinda sums up the season.

Above .500 but after last year it doesn’t seem like enough to finish with a winning record. Playoffs or bust in 2010.

This is only the beginning....Lou Pinella end of '07 season and Chicago Transit Authority (the band when they were really good).

JUST THINK THAT THINGS

have to change alot with this club . Gotta think that playoffs have to be at the top of Hendry’s list also . ( If he does not know why things didn"t work out ) Who Does ????

It came and went so quickly. What a letdown.

While it would be hyperbole to call this season a catastrophe, a disaster or the like,

the blue L flag above the scoreboard after the last game of the year, sums up the unfulfilled expectations we had for this year rather nicely.

Eamus Catuli

You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat. - Albert Einstein

They should leave the L flag up all winter.

Let the front office people look at it flying up there in the wind and snow every day that they come into work.

reminds me of the forlorn picture I bagged in 1998

of the scoreboard from Waveland on the morning after the WC game loss with the score still on the board.

Forlorn?

Not so much, unless you used to be a Giants fan?

I think he was talking about the loss to the Braves in the Division Series.
