Good luck proving collusion
It is hard anyway. MLB owners are like the proverbial saying about herding cats. And, it only takes one to blow the market anyway. With unemployment hovering around ten percent, which affects attendance, and significant advertising downturns a slow down in salary escalation is to be expected.
I’d really have to see the union’s plan for an international draft. There are so many nooks and crannies around the world a lot of kids are lucky to be discovered. I don’t see how every kid could get registered for a draft and how it wouldn’t be 200 or so rounds long.
