Baseball Picture Puzzles Overflow 1
I had no idea this would be such a popular idea. The other one's getting full, so move on over here. Note, I've taken "Player" out of the title -- we could do managers, coaches, anything to do with baseball. I'll start with the first one, fairly easy:

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, managing editor (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

You are getting a very close on the first one.
But you are getting even cooler on the last. I could give a different picture for the last word if you need another hint.
"Fasten those seatbelts"-Pat Hughes
OK, for that last picture- use this one for the last word. Same thing.

"Fasten those seatbelts"-Pat Hughes
OK last hint for this one.
It’s an acronym used quite alot around here. If you pronounced it, it would sound similiar to this picture.png)

The answer is
Harry Caray: Marshall is going back to LA to get cocaine for his injured foot.
Steve Stone: Harry, that’s Novocaine.

I am German by ancestry. On November 9, I will be joining my fellow Germans in celebrating the 20th anniversary of Die Mauerfall. I have been to Berlin, seen what remains of the Wall, and seen the line where the Wall once divided the city.

A hint about that one: I am omitting the person's nickname.

He was done yesterday. Al averted his eyes…

Nope.
I posted his nickname. Should be easy now.

The subject is persona non grate at BCB. That’s why people call him “he who shall not be named.”

I was hoping it
was. He was my favorite player when I was a kid. Don’t ask me why, but I had a crush on him of all people. I think at the time I may have just had a thing for catchers.

This one should be easy. I don't think anyone has done this yet.

Unfortunately, I saw a game in August when the other guys did this. Still hurts, that game does.

OT:
Zeke, I don’t get Michigan vs. Wisconsin today. I’m watching Michigan State vs. Purdue. Michigan State took a 7-0 lead with less than a minute elapsed in the game due to a fumble return for a touchdown.

How about this one? It's hard. Hint: Old time guy...

Now only 12,859 on the "Cubs Season Tickets Waiting List"...
That one was hard.
It was those Ding Dongs that gave it away. You win the prize for finding that second picture. That one had me way off track at first. Doing Al’s “this Old Cub” also helped because it had me thinking along the lines of early baseball. I have a harder time with the ones that are from the nineteen-ninties. Between having two babies and the strike somewhat turning me off I missed most of that decade.
"Fasten those seatbelts"-Pat Hughes
Once I found that second picture, I had to refigure the third one a bit from what I originally planned.
But muppets always deserve a post where possible.

Player from the 20th century (The first set is his name, the second set is his "nickname")...
That should narrow it down!

And now his ‘nickname’:

Nice.
I used to love Shari Lewis. Didn’t know his nickname. This is becoming quite educational.

right away. Even though the middle picture doesn’t show-I’m pretty sure what it must be-this scene comes to mind. Learned yet another nickname.

Yep. I used a certain cartoon character for #2 (which should have shown up, grrrrr), but you got it.
Sometimes right clicking on the image that doesn’t display and then opening it in a new window/tab works…
