I like the new look.

Especially their alternate home jerseys, which remind me of their 1965 uni’s.

I never did like the Twins' pinstripe road uniforms.

These are much classier.

Never liked the pinstripes

But I did like the font. Nothing wrong with these uniforms but I feel like they don’t really stand out that much.

There are only 3 teams with good pinstripe jerseys.

Cubs, Yankees, and White Sox

If you go to the twins website

You can see the two patches they are putting on their jerseys. Very nice looking

just about to post this

I think they did a great job. Really like the jerseys. Most of the new unis that have come out in the past few years have sucked, IMO.

As a Twins fan,

my only peeve is the red bill on the hats. Otherwise, the rest of the equipment is nice.

At least their patches don't look like Domino's logo.

I like the classy old school look

Now if only the Cubs would do the same thing and get rid of the blue softball jerseys

Very good retro look

The classics are the best. In almost every case, you can go back in time and find much better uniforms in a team’s history. Some teams are smart enough not to tamper, and hold on to a timeless style. I think we can use the Cubs, (Except for the stupid blue tops) Yankees, Dodgers as examples.

The Red Sox used to fit into this category, but they are beginning to tinker way too much.

I wouldn’t use the Padres as an example, though.

Here's a classic look I wouldn't mind seeing the Cubs adopt.

These are the 1909 uniforms. In the current blue/red color scheme, they would look REALLY good.

That would be so cool.

I especially like the socks. Personally I’d like the see the whole team wear their socks the same way and I prefer the fencer style over the too big pajama bottoms. So this would be awesome.

Looking at it again...

… what I’d do is put the modern team colors on it and reverse the uniforms — make the pinstripe with “Cubs” on it the home uniform, make the other one gray and the road uni, and you could put a number on the other side from the logo.

That’d be a nod to history, while keeping things modern.

that's even better

But would the hat have the pinstripe like the picture though? I don’t really mind it on the road uniform, but I’m not sure if I’d like it that way for a home uniform. It might be a bit too much.

I think I'd stick with the current cap.

OK

but I wouldn’t mind if they had a striped or two-colored cap on the road. Not necessarily the blue with the red bill (although I was one of the few around here that really liked that one). Depends on what looks best with the rest of the uniform-maybe gray and blue. I personally like when they have a different cap on the road.

Geez-I hope they ask you to design a new uniform now. I’m really loving the idea.

I never did like that separate road cap.

But I’m all for letting me design new uniforms!

I'd gladly give up the separate cap

if it means we’d get the uniform you have in mind. One more nit-picking thought-the “chicago” still should be on the road uniform even if you switch the styles for pinstripes at home.

Yeah, I'd probably do that...

… take “CHICAGO” off the home uniform, put it on the road uni.
