If you thought this was going to be messy, read this link. The "Dodger Divorce" could get REAL ugly.

Wow. This might make the Padres

divorce appear amicable.

Any unrealistic trades we can suggest? I’ll go first with a 1 for 1, Lou for Torre.

if this was still new to me, i wouldn't understand

I'd like Kemp.

We can send them Aaron Miles.

I'm sure I could find room on the Cubs roster for any/all

of Furcal, Kemp, Ethier, Kershaw, or Broxton. Maybe they’ll take MB in return.

Kemp would be fantabulous.

On a more serious note, I was impressed with their young reliever Corey Wade in 2008. I guess he was injured or something this year.

Agreed - too bad it appears to be all or nothing.

A Padres looking fire sale to reduce payroll might be nice. At a minimum, the Dodgers wouldn’t be wild card contenders.

He had some shoulder trouble this year.

Torreitis, as it was. Joe does have a tendency to ride his horses in the pen until they break down – look at Scott Proctor and Bellisario this year. Wade suffered the same fate in 2009 after a strong 2008. Wade will never overpower anyone, but he’s a thinking man’s pitcher and would be a nice pickup.

I'm still not understanding

How he secured all those loans with seemingly not much collateral.

I would sleep with Blou if it meant the Cubs would win a WS. by Doggie Stalker on Aug 22, 2009 4:11 PM EDT
