That's not sexist.
It’s advocating breast cancer research. There are many items to that effect that are available (my whole family each has a pin, I’ve seen other shirts that have the same message). It’s obviously succeeding in it’s point; being funny and drawing attention to the cause.
My dog's name is Wrigley... What else can I say?
I was not aware of the cancer aspect.
It is sexist and it is for a good cause. The is no reason why it can not be both.
Well, I never heard it before, but it sounds uncommon nonsense.

Sexist?
You apparently have a skewed understanding of the term. And by skewed, I mean very wrong.
Absolutely nothing at all

Yeah, eths, gotta say, you kinda missed the point on this campaign. It's not sexist at all.
My wife wants one of these for Christmas. My mother-in-law said they have a similar version where they live in Traverse City called “Save the Ta-Tas”.
Now only 12,859 on the "Cubs Season Tickets Waiting List"...
Well, obviously the campaign is not sexist
but I’m not sure how you could fault eths for thinking that just based on seeing the shirt.
- It’s pink – always the stereotype for girls
- It has baseballs strategically placed to draw attention to the breasts
- And the phrase “Save 2nd Base” brings to mind the whole “getting to 2nd base with a girl” mentality from high school.
I’d say those three points are decidedly sexist.
btw – I checked out the web site and they have this explanation for that phrase:
"Save 2nd Base" is a unique and humorous phrase to support the fight against Breast Cancer. A play on words of the old baseball euphemism is now synonymous with a battle cry heard ‘round the globe!
What’s the old baseball euphemism they refer to? The only one I can think of is “Safe at 2nd base.” That’s not so obvious a play on words to me – and I’ve been around baseball pretty much all my life.
Regardless, this is obviously all for a worthy cause and the Kelly Rooney family and all involved with the campaign felt that adopting an eye-catching design and phrase would help raise awareness – judging by what has happened here and elsewhere – I’d say they were right.
Lou Brown: "My kinda team, Charlie, my kinda team..."
I think the euphemism they are referring to is the one you put in your third bullet above. Honestly without the link to Breast Cancer research it would be sexist, but that link makes it ok, because it allows the shirt to be used to bring awareness which is the point.
I’ve also seen shirts, etc. that say “Save the TATAS” on them. I have a regular pink breast cancer awareness license plate, but I think these newer type shirts with risque slogans on them do help raise awareness, hopefully no one pushes is too far.

I found the picture at Google Images.
The shirt is a play on various stereotypes and as such is not much different than pictures I have seen shirts which considered to be racist, i.e. the Fukedome shirt or the lawn mowing shirt. If those shirts are racist, then this shirt is sexist.
But like I said above, after the reason behind the shirt was pointed out: It is sexist and it is for a good cause. The is no reason why it can not be both.
Well, I never heard it before, but it sounds uncommon nonsense.
