OT: Lidge to have surgery
Could the explanation for Brad Lidge's disastrous '09 seriously be that simple? He's been pitching hurt all year? If that's the case the Phillies are idiots. Although I suppose this could just be an issue that developed late in the year.

Hmm Phillies are idiots.
One of their most important players just sucked all year and it now appears he was INJURED ALL YEAR but did not want to admit. Sound familiar anyone ?

We just don't know if he was hurt all year....
… or if that was a recent development. His performance implies that it was all year, but who knows for sure?
