Are never missed around here!
I would sleep with Blou if it meant the Cubs would win a WS. by Doggie Stalker on Aug 22, 2009 4:11 PM EDT
I'm sure somewhere
the former catcher is doing something worthy of jail time too. Lock them both up just to be sure.
There is no such thing as an ugly female breast
Yeah, apparently someone incarcerated...
…the baseball playing Michael Barrett’s ability to hit for power.

LOL
That’s not true!!! WHY THE F*CK WOULD YOU SAY THAT YOU AHOLE!! Ok maybe your right but you gotta give a little something here for it to work. I don’t know what I’m going to do this is the worst thing I’ve ever read, this day could not get any worse. Fine, F*ck it, you’re right.

Not only was this guy a stalker...
…but he single-handedly ruined Micah Hoffpauir’s major league career. After this story broke, I could can no longer bring myself to post Erin Andrews pics when Micah came up to bat because I felt like a stalker creep. Thereby, the Hoff usually struck out or grounded out weakly to the first baseman. There are many victims here.

How about us the fans?
We don’t get to look at her anymore!

I've written this before
But I’m sure that Pierzynski does something every day that he should get punched in the face for. Michael Barrett (the catrcher) is a respected guy in clubhouses all across baseball.

Sadly, it appears that may end up being his biggest contribution TO baseball.

In the knees?

You mean defensively? Game-calling? Um, no.
He could swing the bat – that’s about it.

He could swing the bat very well...
He had an 843 OPS as a Cub.
His D wasn’t the greatest, but the offense made up for it. And as for the gamecalling, you can’t blame him for the pitcher saying yes to the signs he put down.
Right, so he wasn't a damn good catcher.
He was a pretty good hitter.

Did anyone see the video?
Trying not to be a typical guy here and remain sensitive to the situation, but what did you see? Did it really warrant a jail sentence? I mean the guy is totally out of line and should be fined or something but jail seems to be a little much, especially for five years.

Would you say that to Erin Andrews if you met her in person?
"You can observe a lot just by watching." ~ Yogi Berra
I want to know what was on the tape first
Then I’d go from there. If it’s that bad, then yea I guess I’d send the guy to jail. This is why I’m posing the question. But from everything I’ve heard about it, it’s not that big of a deal.

From what I hear ..
.. it’s not Sasha Gray with a yo yo or any kind of other deviance with props.
The video was of the girl doing her hair, topless. Do we need to know any more?
Erin was believing herself to be enjoying the kind of privacy all of us enjoy every day. This scum sucking bottom dwelling trash destroyed that for her. He’ll get a few years in jail, maybe (not likely), pay a fine and buy drinks for everyone when he’s released, chuckling over it with his equally twisted friends.
Should Jesus tarry, she will have to endure knowing that her privacy was violated and enshrined in the seedy side of cultural immortality in cyberspace and hard drives everywhere. And that ain’t right. At all.

I don't know which way we will go ..

Um...
Erin Andrews has every right to be upset about that because it’s not right. She’s within her rights to want extreme punishment because she has been pretty shaken by this situation. The maximum sentence is five years, but it doesn’t mean he’ll get the maximum sentence. That’s the decision of the judge. I haven’t followed the case that much, so I can’t comment more. He is going to do time. That much I know.
And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.
I agree with everything but the punishment
I’d want justice, I’d want apologies, etc. The article says he faces up to five years. I just think that’s a little too much

Are you serious?
What if he was taping your wife/girlfriend/daughter? I have both a wife and a daughter, and if it happened to them, I would think five years is too lenient.
Oh I agree, I'd probably want to kill the guy
But from what I’ve heard you can’t see anything more than a silhouette. I’m just wondering how bad it was, that’s why I’m asking if anyone’s seen it or heard about it.

I'm pretty sure...
that if it was only a silhouette then there would be no way to identify who it actually was on film. The fact that it was such a huge story and that by all accounts you could easily identify her I’m pretty sure it showed everything.
I don’t care if it was 4 hours worth or if it was just a 2 second section of her walking by the camera hole, whatever the law allows is perfectly fine.
I'll call this a wash
And say agree to disagree. I guess I’m just desensitized to this sort of thing. Women are treated like this all the time, the only difference is Erin wasn’t paid. I’m sure if this happened to me or someone I knew, I’d be much more angry, etc
