OT: Aroldis Chapman Wows at Workout
Is Chapman worth the estimated $24 million he'll command? I'm definitely intrigued, and I think the Cubs need pitching help, but I'm on the fence with this guy.

I'd love if the Cubs jumped in
but I’m not really expecting it. He could get a lot more than 24 mil … and I’m not sure the Cubs will commit that to a guy that most likely will start off in the minors, even if he’s not there for long.
4 years/$24M seems light to me
If that’s the going rate, I say do it.

I'd love it,
but i doubt it would happen. too many people want in on this guy and we don’t have the payroll flexability. And even if we did sign him, knowing our luck, he’d probably throw out his shoulder and he’ll never pitch again.

I'll say the Yankees or Angels win this
$35 million, or something around that.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Seattle or Baltimore get in on this
They’ve got cash to burn it seems like

Agreed
Baltimore is the team that might be the real sleeper in this. Peter Angelos seems willing to once again spend wildly.

The next Ariel Prieto?
