You know, this is no Eric Hanna
This guy is close to a reasonable point: the Cubs can still consider trades, especially for young players without high salaries. Ellsbury or Hill might make sense, but would obviously cost top prospects or similarly good young players at other positions.
Valverde? Phillips? Not so much.
