Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

This, to some extent, just rehashes the same old reasons Hendry was foolish to sign Bradley in the first place. There are some incidents mentioned in here that I didn't know about though, like the domestic violence reports.

This one line makes me sick

“Police responded to three domestic violence reports at Bradley’s home in the summer 2005, including an incident where he was accused of choking his pregnant wife.”

Had Cubs won the World Series and he was MVP I’d still never cheer for a man who could do such a thing. I know it states “accused” but still, that makes me sick to my stomach.

i didnt know that as well

that one sickens me.

just curious (asking others), was the JH jab in the OP needed

In deference to your heritage:

The Cubs have traded Milton
We’re glad he’s gone away
If there are extra innings
The whole Cubs team will play.

Milton, Milton, Milton
We’re glad you’ve gone away,
Milton, Milton, Milton
You get in your own way.

You have a creaky body,
With skin that is so thin,
You demeanor makes us tired
We want the Cubs to win.

Milton, Milton, Milton
We’re glad you’ve gone away,
Milton, Milton, Milton
You’ll be dumped again some day.

Milton, Milton, Milton
With skin that is so thin
Oh Milton, Milton, Milton
WIth Dusty you’d fit in.

Milton, Milton, Milton
We’re glad you’ve gone away,
Milton, Milton, Milton
When you signed, Al said, “Oy, Vey”.

You are so very spiteful,
It’s actually quite sad.
We might have overlooked it,
But you played so bad.

Oh Milton, Milton, Milton
Why are you always mad?
Oh Milton, Milton, Milton
Your departure makes us glad.

Thank you, sir.

Hmm. Maybe if things are slow, there should be a holiday song post.

U know...

… Milton may be so mad at Chicago, that he’ll use it as a motivating force to be “good” during this coming season. After that though, he’ll self-destruct!

and i am sure there are many articles

about how the cubs made a mistake. lets see what happens and stop concerning ourselves with MB

I will, after one last comment.

I stand by my prediction: after 2011, he will be out of baseball. No one will touch this guy with a 1,000-foot pole. He is toxic.

You never know.

Apparently, a couple of teams (including the Cubs) were willing to invest tens of millions of dollars in him after he was accused of choking his pregnant wife.

If he hits, he’ll play somewhere. If he hits like he did in 2009, he’ll be done.

Doubtful.

Not with the OBP he had. Troubled players always tend to find homes. I think Bradley will eventually find his niche somewhere, but it may not be in Seattle.

Here's the thing

It’s not our problem anymore. The sad thing is that he has the talent to be a successful Major League ball player. I wasn’t too disatisfied with his play in right field. He really went after some plays and made them look exciting. You know he’s capable of putting up a high on-base percentage, making him an ideal hitter for the number two hole.

His attitude is what did him in like it has so many times before. It’s hard to make it in the big leagues and his stunts in Chicago have likely contributed to the end of his career. No numbers in 2010 will be enough to convince a GM to take a chance on him. He should send Jim Hendry a thank you note for making sure he can stay in baseball. I doubt if he could even get a contract playing in the Mexican League with his attitude.

And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.

It will be interesting to say the least...

OTOH, he has a black veteran clubhouse leader (Junior) with whom to bond. OTOH, he never seemed to bond with Derrick Lee, a black veteran clubhouse leader.

OTOH, Jack Z and Wak have cleaned out some of the worst of the M’s clubhouse malcontents. OTOH, Ichiro doesn’t exactly have a pristine clubhouse reputation.

Wak is a very calm, cool, collected, and personable individual, and he’s a great communicator. IOW, Wak is much closer personality-wise to Ron Washington than to Lou. However, part of Wak’s job is to placate the Japanese owners, the Japanese-American fanbase, and the Japanese superstar — especially since he is a Japanese-American. Will Gameboard accuse him of being racist in that case?

And the ultimate question: when will Gameboard “take a look at the man in the mirror and ask him if he can change his ways”?

can be end his contract….. he seems to let all the good players go and keep all the lousy ones. Fontenot and Baker being good examples
