My hope
Is that post season assignments are based on merit and not some negotiation. We have all seen certain umpires who should never umpire any game with championship implications.
Want to throw the umpires a carrot? Let them umpire the All Star game. Oh wait. Our genius baseball commissioner said that determines home field advantage in the world series. Never mind.
