Ticket Exchanges: Season Ticket Packages Or Large Blocks Only

This post is for people who are interested in selling their entire season ticket package, or buying one. You can also post if you want to sell, say, 2/3 or 3/4 of your season tickets to help defray costs, or if you are willing to buy a large portion of someone's package.

Please do NOT use this for single game tickets -- there will be posts for that beginning in February.

As always on this site, please do NOT sell any tickets here for more than you paid for them. If comments get closed, email me and I'll reopen them.

Well, this is interesting

Al, do you actually have reason to believe that someone would be willing to sell their entire season ticket package at cost?

I mean, I suppose there could be folks who, due to the economy, need to take a one-year break from this expense. But wouldn’t they do better just selling the whole set of tickets to a broker?

You probably missed it

but someone with 4 Outfield boxes was so disgusted by the increase ( he is a teacher) that he said he wanted to sell. Some of us suggested alternatives like selling to a broker but keeping some games and I suspect he changed his mind.

I may be selling 4 UD Box.

Moved out of the area. Friends get first dibs. Then BCB friends if I don’t have any takers. Stay tuned!

I am willing to sell a large portion...

of my season ticket package at cost. My family and I would like to sell about 50-60 games, these games would be a representative package of tickets. We will only keep one game per series or so. Our seats are Aisle 434 Row 2 Seats 9+10. If you have any interest in this please contact me at trejo.im (at) gmail (dot) com.

Note, I am editing this post...

… to allow for people like imtrejo above who are interested in selling a large portion of their season tickets, but not necessarily the whole package. If you have a package like that, or want to buy, say, 2/3 of someone’s, post here.

Cubs season tickets group looking for 2 new members in 2010 - $2,519 (Section 411 - Upper Deck Infield Box)

I am looking for two parties to join my Chicago Cubs season tickets group for 2010 — one of the 7 parties in my group has decided to drop out, and so we need to replace him, and also add an 8th member.

Our seats are located in section 411 (upper deck infield box), row 8, on the aisle (seats 101-104). Membership in our group gets you all 4 seats for 10-11 games for the 2010 season (we hold a draft in late-March), plus an equal share in playoff games, should they be played (playoff tickets are an additional charge, obviously). Membership in our group also includes a Stadium Club membership, where you can eat, drink and mingle, before, during and after the game. The price for the total season ticket package is $20,152.00, 1/8th of which is $2,519.00

Payment for the season ticket package is due Friday, January 8th, 2010; if you are interested, contact me at andyburdick72@gmail.com and I can give you more specifics.

GO CUBS!

Thanks,
Andy Burdick

Bleacher Season ticket offer!

My number got called this year and I was told they actually opened a few bleacher seats. I only need 2 but I can buy 4. SO…..if anyone would like to purchase Cubs season tickets in the bleachers, here is your chance. This would include all playoff tickets as well as the first right to renew each year. This would be your seat. I have to purchase tomorrow so let me know asap. If you are interested email me at jasonruppps@yahoo.com as soon as possible and I will send you the price guide. This will be for the full season ticket package.

when asked about his performance against the Reds - Lieber said the following
"Well obviously I made some bad pitches today, left to many over the plate and they got good wood on the ball. The only good thing was that I was able to get back into the clubhouse earlier then I planned so I could eat."

These tickets are no longer available.

4 Great UD Box Season Tickets For Sale!

Hi BCBers!

So here’s the deal. I’m selling my 4 season tickets for the 2010 season. My wife’s job has taken us out of Chicago to the new home of Milton Bradley (trust me, I’m not happy about this) I’ve offered them to friends/family, but because of the cost they can’t swing it.

My seats are located in section 431, row 9. Seats 5-8. These are a good deal because they are right on the dividing line of infield/outfield UD Box. Hence, they are cheaper but better seats. They are pretty much right behind 1st base. They really are nice seats.

I have asked for an upgrade from the Cubs, but still have not heard back so I assuming it’s not happening. If it does, you will get the better, relocated seats (please note they would cost more).

Total cost for the 4 seats is $16,236. This is face value. I would ask for 50% now and the rest once the tickets are released to me in early-March.

Please don’t ask if I will “sell you the rights” because the Cubs don’t allow that. However, this could be a multiple year thing – you would of course get first dibs on renewal next year should we be unable to use them again which is likely.

Of course, I would provide you with proof that these are real and not some Nigerian Internet scheme… :)

If you have interest or any questions, please feel free to email me at:
bergs55@hotmail.com

Thanks.

I just hope that...

people will continue to offer these season ticket packages here when the country is somewhat out of the recession and I have graduated college, because I will definitely deal with someone in the future.

Bleacher Tickets

I received good new this year as my name was selected a couple weeks ago for season tickets. Quite frankly, my wife is less than impressed, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

Anyways, I have two in the bleachers, and I am looking to sell a block (10, 20, or more, I am pretty flexible) of them them for face. Any packages would be a representative sampling of the season. (day, opponent, month, etc)

If anybody has any interest, let me know.

Ticket packages available!

Okay…

Since nobody seems to want to buy my entire season ticket package, I am willing to split my games up into blocks (5 games, 10 games, 20 games, etc)

I have 4 UD Box seats in section 431, row 9. Face value.

Let me know the games you’re interested in and we can figure it out. But please don’t just ask for Cardinals, Angels and White Sox games. In order to get those, you’ll need to include a few less desirable games. Nothing beats a Pittsburgh game in April!

Thanks -

Matt

OT: Baseball alive at old Tiger Stadium site
I have to admit, i didn't expect this to work, and i generally don't condone ratting somebody out, but i think Woo Woo inspires special circumstances.

He was a few rows above me and a group of maybe a hundred other University of Iowa alumni last night, and started right in with the wooing early and loud. Between innings, he was... how shall i say this... creeping around? We all know his reputation.

Within 10 minutes of making a complaint to the Cubs text line, he was gone. Might be worth trying in future instances.

Sorry for the crappy picture quality... just got a new phone (HTC EVO) and am not sure how to take screen caps yet.
