Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

While speculation about his eventual successor has involved names like Sandberg, Brenly and Trammel, Lou Pinella appears to be reconsidering his plans to stop managing the Cubs after 2010.

i dont

think lou will change his mind. after another possible frustrating season 2010 that should be enough.

Look! I think this is just

Lou’s way of saying he is commited to the coming season. He’s not just going to jog (walk) the final lap. Which if I am not missremembering was a big gripe for many last year. Lou’s disinterest. I welcome this comment.

Side note: Consider a talk like Lou day in the future where every post must start with “Look”.

Look,

….what do you want me to do if he comes back?

Look!

I think everyone should want to post in this thread beginning with the word “look”.

Look --

as long he doesn’t fall asleep during games, I’m okay with it.

Look, what do you want him to say?

I mean, if he has a good season, and and and and and the team plays well, uhhh, maybe he doesn’t want to close the door. I think he wants to win, I really do. Look, it’s a hard job. (seemingly interminable pause) But it’s rewarding. Let’s just see how the games shake out, and and and then go from there.

Look--

It would take a World Series appearance in 2010 for Ryne Sandberg to NOT be managing this team in 2011.

Look- are you TRYING to ruin my day ?

I can’t cope with this kind of thing so early in the morning. Like Lou I am still half asleep.

Look....

As long as he takes to the Cubs to the W.S. then i’m fine with it.

This is it...

…for Lou after this year.

He doesn’t appear to be a guy that just keeps hanging on, and I’ll bet he is done no matter what the record this year.

Look!

Look I tell you. This is a completely irrelevant post.

And Lou asks, “What do you want me to do?” And Billy Martin says, “I told Reggie not to bunt. You’d better not do it either or you’ll get the same treatment..” And then Steinbrenner says, “You’d better not.”

And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.
