oldest living cubbie - lonny frey, 1910

for the record, lonny frey is currently the oldest living cub.  i did a quick search of BCB, and i could only find one reference to lonny (here).

frey was born in 1910.  yeah yeah, 1908 and all that garbage.  blah blah...

but frey was a three time all-star and twice won the WS (1940 cin, 1947 nyy).  he was a cubbie for 78 games in 1937 and 24 games in 1947.

wikipedia claims he's the last living player to have played for all three NY teams (dodgers, giants, yankees).  i find it humorous that the mets don't count as one of the NY teams.
